Late to the party?
OK. It's May 2004 and I'm just getting hooked on blogging. I know, its been a phenomenon for some time now, but I guess this is actually one area in which I'm a late adopter. (OK, maybe Ricky and Kaitlyn are also late adoptions, but that's a story for another time).
My first blogging efforts were as a reporter of sorts for the webMethods Integration World 2003 conference in Orlando last year. I didn't really like the way that turned out mainly because I tried to communicate too much detail and didn't have enough time allotted to get things the way I wanted.
At any rate, I'm enjoying reading several evangelical Christian, conservative political and military blogs just now and plan to add some work-related technology blogs to the list as well.
I'm not sure I have the energy to muse publicly on a wide variety of topics, but I hope to tackle some issues of apologetics, international adoption, the political climate and our post-Christian American culture in general.
I'm writing for me, but hope others will find time spent here of value (at least on occasion).
Mark
